QUALITY OF LIFE

• More live music in restaurants

• More public art

• More street trees

• More secure bike routes

• More farmers markets

• More community gardens

• A second senior center on the North Side

 

On Planning Commission I have long advocated to making it easier and cheaper for restaurants to have live music.

I have also long advocated for a development fee for public art. I am envious of Santana Row for having the mosaic lizards that kids are always crawling on. Other cities have artistic bike racks.

Santa Clara is designated Tree City USA but we have far fewer canopy street trees on El Camino Real and Stevens Creek Blvd than our neighboring cities
